Coverdale House serves the whole Christian community of Princeton, not one denomination or tradition.
At the same time, many Protestant students arrive at the academy and discover that their churches and educational backgrounds have not fully prepared them for the intellectual challenges they encounter. Some begin looking elsewhere for traditions with deeper intellectual resources for engaging the life of the mind.
We believe they should not have to leave their traditions behind.
Princeton has a distinctive Protestant heritage, and Coverdale House seeks to help students and scholars rediscover the riches of the Reformation. We explore its theology, social teaching, literary and artistic cultures—helping Christians draw more deeply from their own traditions as they engage the university and the world.

under Christ’s lordship, in community, and through prayer.
